thoughts with empty mind..

I have not updated for ages, as I have not been home except to take shower, sleep, wake up, eat, sleep, wake up and take a shower then go to work.. Sometimes I do stay home for less than 24 hours. Doing 5 flights back to back with two days off is a lot actually. Your body clock, sleeping patterns and your food time get screwed up big time. One day you are in Europe another day you are in Asia and in between you are home for a few hours. Anyway, its not bad at all I guess!

Sound of glass cracking, the captain and myself looking at each other. Wondering what was that. I answered the question on the spot. Mate its your side. We got the tourch kept looking. F***, man look at this?! I don't know what went throw my mind in a glance of second. We kept investgating and checking if there is any leakage or pressure differences. Thank god nothing was found. Operation was normal. We reached our destination then took another airline to go to different place. It was such a long day. When we reached the hotel I was semi-dead or dead from tiredness. The captain was a nice guy. Crew were crazy but good fun as well.

What I love about this job is that in the summer you can go to Munich see all the arabs there. The hotel is like jumerah beach hotel in dubai. You really feel home. The other day I met a few of my friend in munich we chilled out and had dinner togather. Then you can go to london and again same story. Vienna as well but munich is the best.

I am going to start my leave soon. My plan is to go for diving course or kite surfing. Which I am sure will be a lot of awsome. Both of these are on my list.

Currently, We flying abeam Karachi, we just passed Mumbai and Ahmadabad. My favorite place to write I guess. Enjoying listening to the Indian air traffic controller voice. He is my inspiration *LOL*..

6 days trip

I have just come back from a long 6 days flight. I have been to 4 different cities. Don't ask me why. It was fun. I hate being away from home more than two to three days. However, for the sake of change and some other reasons I had to do it. I should admit that I was a bit worried. Normally if you get boring crew you end up by your self all the time. However, I had a wonderful crew. Every place we had something to do. At the moment the closest airport to us is 3 hours away. Anyway, stop talking about airports and aircrafts. I did something that I really wanted to do. Sky dive, It was amazing. I have not been in a light aircraft since I finished my training. Initially it felt like I am in a Toyota corolla. The time to climb to 12000 feet was going too slow. The adrenaline is rushing in my blood. I am getting excited. I thought I am going to panic and change my mind. At 10000 I told the guy who I was hooked up too as a joke that I changed my mind. Why should I jump from a fine aircraft? That was the question I had into my mind. We reached 12000 feet. The door of the aircraft opened and the first guy jumped. Now my turn, I sit on the edge of the aircraft. First things came to my head, why I am doing this.. I didn't even finished my thoughts and found myself in the air. I guess it took my 5 second to realise the fact what's going on. The camera man was close to me and when the instructors tapped on my right shoulder I opened my hands.. At 5000 feet he opened the parachutes and it was really fun.. I recommend to do it before anyone reaches 30 years old..

Everything stops in my life for the time being until I finish this weekend peacefully.

Sunday, May 25th
ammmm nothing..

Flipping throw the TV channels.
Nothing is interesting.
I am bored.
Its Sunday, everything is close.

A lot of dark thoughts coming to my mind do know why. I have been spending my nights in semidarkness. In the glow of the city's lights entering through my windows. Don’t ask me why, I have no answer.

We arrived to the aircraft. Yes, back to work *again* a lot of stickers all over the place. Most of the Anti Ice system is INOP. Avoid icing conditions, Sure we will. Mate, this baby does not like cold weather *LOL*.

I just woke up; I don’t want to do anything. I just want to stay in my hotel room.

random thoughts at 3:00 am

It has been a while; I got no excuses except being lazy and flying back to back. I guess I got into the syndrome that the guys told me about. Flying or living in the aircraft. It’s not bad at all. At the moment I am writing this while waiting for the crew to fly back home. I got this guy with me since yesterday and all he talks about is CHELSE football club. I got sick of it to be honest. At the end
MAN-UTD got it..

I have been to Casablanca couple of times last month. I have not been there in a year time. It was quiet interesting. My mission was to get olives for my dad *LOL*. Apart from that, the Moroccan bath *Hamam* is highly recommended of course. I am going to write about it more next time. After the Hamam I went to get the olives and then saw a little cosy cafe on the street where I decide to have a Moroccan tea. Sitting alone looking at the people walking and driving becomes interesting sometimes.

Now let's talk about what I have done yesterday. I have bought couple of books which I am going to read in the next couple of weeks. At the moment I am reading a book called The Reluctant Fundamentalist written by Mohsin Hamid. It’s a very interesting book that keeps you wanting more. Another book which is on my waiting list to be read is The Kite Runner written by Khaled Hosseini.

I have almost done with my log book which I had to write as I have to submit to the GCAA soon for some licensing issues.

The UK airport security is awful. It is still to strict and harsh sometimes. The ask you to remove everything. Your jacket, belt, shoes, perfume, watches, pens and laptop. I asked the lady the other day if she wants me to remove my pants as well. She answer me that I am too young for her *LOL*.

insomnia, yes most of us have suffered from it at some point during our lives. I had it for the last couple of months as I was flying mostly at night. But last month and this month it has been quiet nice and easy morning departures and back home by mid night next day. Can't complain more I guess.
