too high too fast..
mood: great, on vacation..

It has been ages; I have too many excuses but not a good one to draw a smile on people faces. I got dragged into my career. Building my experience, discovering the world and staying up all night. Yes, I have been flying at night most of the time. Sleeping during the day. My body clock is screwed up big time. I am recovering now..

most of the time I write notes and leave it in my bag. However, I don't feel to come online and update.

I told my captain, "This is gonna to be fun!" Air traffic control kept us high because of the stream of outbound airliners underneath us. Hence, it made me work hard to get the our baby down before we turn base leg and final. The wing spoilers are full up, shaking the aircraft, as they peel lift away from the wings. It feels great... I admire it when its challenging, you have to compromise between speed and the vertical axis. I was considering lowering the landing gear for more drag. We are way above a normal downwind leg altitude, which, for a big jet should be between 3,000 - 5,000 feet above the ground, depending on local noise abatement rules. We are about 8,000 feet above the ground. Sort of high...

The landing gear falls into the wind storm increasing the vertical rate further. Two more steep banks to the left (before the final segment) will allow me to lose a lot of altitude quickly. I will be configured and on speed about six miles from touchdown, which is perfect. The engines have been at idle thrust for miles as he struggles to lose altitude and airspeed; a fuel saver approach.

Sometimes you meet people you never expect to meet. I met someone the other day who turn to be my relative. It was such a coincidence; i believe i am honored to meet such a person. I really enjoyed their company. it was quick we both looked so tired and exhausted but overall obviously worth it. a very well said by unknown "Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend."

I recommend snorkeling in Mauritius... good place to relax..

To all students, good luck in you exams & suffer the way we suffered *LOL*..
