i had this question in my mind the other day.. do you seek for perfection? i hope u got an answer...

i noticed that since the last 4 weeks i got my self really busy here no more weekends no more relaxing.. i decided that this weekend i will relax and wont do anything..

thanks for all the people who left me comments and sent me emails.. on my topic flying over water.. it was an amazing experiance.. and still i wont do crazy things.. safety comes 1st..

flying over water..
mood: busy with the sky..

i had my 1st flight over the water.. i don’t know what was wrong with me today.. i woke up in the morning took my shower as usual, prayed, prepared my bag my headset and my maps for the flight.. i went to the college as normal.. well, before that on my way to the operation room i noticed the cloud base is really low.. the normal action is "i am not going to fly today" but deep inside my self there was something telling me go ahead it will count as an experience.. my instructor came back from his flight..
me: sir, the cloud base is 3500ft to 4500ft.. do you recon we can fly?
my instructor: well its your choice. you are pilot in command.
me: lets go and do it then.
i know you gonna say everything is normal what’s wrong here.. let me tell you that flying over water is dangerous because the aircraft is single engine aircraft and we must climb really high which give us the chance to glide in case of engine failure.. anyway, i talked to the Air traffic controller and requested not to climb above 3000 due to cloud.. I guess my friend was listening to my radio call somewhere in the training area when i came back from the flight my friend was like are you crazy its too risky... you must be at least at 6000ft..
sometimes we must take the challenge and fight our fear.. i still don’t know why i wanted to go.. i don’t know because it could be the most stupid decision in my life and still cant figure why my instructor agreed to go..

solo flight...
mood: working..

there is always a joy for going 1st solo "ya3ni" flying with no instructor on board.. its scary but the feelings you get is amazing.. this wont take long the tradition in this college is to throw the person into the pool and this guy is one of the victims =)

24 Things to Remember...

i find these 24 things are interesting to read:

1. Every takeoff is optional. Every landing is mandatory.

2. If you push the stick forward, the houses get bigger. If you pull the stick back, they get smaller. That is, unless you keep pulling the stick all the way back, then they get bigger again.

3. Flying isn't dangerous. Crashing is what's dangerous.

4. It's always better to be down here wishing you were up there than up there wishing you were down here.

5. The ONLY time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.

6. The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.

7. When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No one has ever collided with the sky.

8. A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great' landing is one after which they can use the plane again.

9. Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

10. You know you've landed with the wheels up if it takes full power to taxi to the ramp.

11. The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival. Large angle of arrival, small probability of survival and vice versa.

12. Never let an aircraft take you somewhere your brain didn't get to five minutes earlier.

pictures above me and my friend preparing for the night flying.. i really enjoy the night flying... you can see the lights of the city with is so amazing but the problem is you cant see the ground and the landing is harder because of the illusion that you get during night...
